In a joint effort, the Wharton School with financial support from The Rodney L. White Center for Financial Research, and Stanford Graduate School of Business are offering a workshop for outstanding PhD students.

Workshop Focus
The workshop will focus on the recent innovations that have transformed the field, teaching students how to apply the rational expectations equilibrium concept to the money management industry and exploring the empirical consequences of applying the concept consistently. Faculty and Curriculum The workshop will be co-taught by Jonathan Berk (Stanford Graduate School of Business) and Jules van Binsbergen (The Wharton School). The professors have designed a curriculum including both lectures and expository sessions designed to elicit new ideas for original research. Who Should Apply The workshop is intended for PhD students who have completed most of their required course work and are either looking for dissertation topics or working on their dissertations.
